Specialist Assessments
Specialist assessments of children & adolescents who are adopted (when commissioned by a Regional Adoption Agency), fostered, living under SGO/CAO or within residential care.
Jigsaw Psychology Ltd is registered as a provider with Adoption East Midlands (AEM), Derby City Council, Nottinghamshire County Council, Leicestershire County Council & Staffordshire.
Private assessments
Dr Helen offers clinical psychology & neurodevelopmental assessments (including ADHD & Autism) to private individuals, families, schools and other organisations.
Family Court
Dr Helen has completed Expert Witness reports of children and adults for the Family Court since 2005. She does not have capacity for these assessments until October 2026.
Therapy Approaches
Therapy with children and adults using Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP), Theraplay®, EMDR, Systemic (Family) Psychotherapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) & Clinical Hypnosis.
Dr Helen is a Certified Theraplay® Practitioner, Supervisor and Trainer, Certified DDP Practitioner and EMDR Europe Accredited Adult, Child & Adolescent Consultant.
